Thermostat Settings Temperature Control : Ensure the thermostat is set to a temperature higher than the current room temperature.
System Switch : Set to HEAT or AUTO .
Fan Switch : Set to ON for continuous airflow or AUTO to have the blower operate only when the furnace is running.Testing the Furnace Raise Thermostat Setting : Increase the thermostat to its highest setting to try to activate the furnace.Air Flow and Filters Check Air Filter : Inspect the air filter; replace it if it is extremely dirty, as this can block air flow.
Registers : Ensure all air registers are open and unobstructed.Electrical and Gas Checks Power Disconnect Switch : Verify the power disconnect switch near the furnace is in the ON position.
Fuse/Breaker : Check the fuse or breaker at the electrical panel to ensure it hasn’t tripped.
Gas Control Valve : Confirm that the gas control valve leading to the furnace is open.Pilot Light Pilot Light : For systems with a pilot light, check that it is lit. Note that electronic ignitions do not have a pilot light.Contact Us If the problem persists, please contact us for further assistance.
